So I’m completely in love with this engagement session. Everyone knows the mountains is one of my favorite places to be so when Kari asked if would travel to North Georgia for her engagement session, I immediately said YES!

She asked if there was anywhere in North Georgia that would be good and I recommended Vogel State Park and Helton Creek Falls. They are both in Blairesville, down some windy mountain roads. Walker and I spent the day hiking with Bailey before we met Kari and Kevin for golden hour (the two hours before the sun goes down).

One of my goals when photographing my couples is capturing real, true emotion that represents a time, a moment, a feeling. Being able to provide them with an image, that when it goes on their wall and they glance at it throughout their everyday lives, they can look back on that moment and know how they felt. I want them to remember holding hands, and the little giggles and the whispers they shared during our session.

I met Amy and Andrew on UGA’s North Campus where we spent a little while taking their engagement pictures. Amy is a graduate of the University of Georgia, and I had so much fun getting to know her and Andrew before their wedding. Andrew kept Amy laughing the entire session and you could tell by the way they interacted, they were a great pair. Here are some of my favorites from their session!
