I was so excited when Carter Scott with Hair By Carter asked me to participate in her fall giveaway! She is one of my sweet brides and does hair and make-up at Charmed Spa and Salon in downtown Milledgeville.

To be honest, I’m always a little intimidated doing giveaways on my own because I don’t think people will actually want to enter – so it was really fun to partner with other businesses in Milledgeville and not be on my own!

I only had a few days I would be in town, so it worked out perfectly that Laura Beth won the giveaway. She was so flexible with my availability and travel and it made scheduling so easy! We decided to do their mini-session at Lockerly Arboretum, one of my FAVORITE venues in Milledgeville.

That morning was so foggy and I was kinda worried about actually seeing the background but I kinda LOVE the look of the fog in the background. It cleared out pretty quickly as we walked around and it ended up being a perfect time for a session!

I loved seeing Fubba and Laura Beth’s son Bryant! While he was not impressed with my silly sounds or jumping he did find some rocks that he really enjoyed and his sweet parents did a great job of getting him so smile and laugh! Also, their outfits were on point for a fall family session! Laura Beth gets all the credit and has great style! I’ve loved following her blog and seeing the super cute (and affordable) outfits she puts together!

Fall is always pretty busy for me on the weekends so I miss out on the sweet family sessions, but I’m thinking I might reserve a few days to fit them in next year. I think yearly photos are SO IMPORTANT and I want to make them an option for past clients!
