I knew Haley and John were the perfect SMP couple as soon as I talked to Haley on the phone. She was sweet, southern, and excited to plan her wedding! More importantly she mentioned that she and John liked to go hiking, hammocking and loved all things outdoors. I shouldn’t have been surprised when their engagement session was totally my dream session in every way. Let me explain.
Haley and John showed up to the Ocmulgee National Monument in the perfect outdoor casual outfits all the way down to their Bean Boots. If you follow my instagram, you know that I love Bean Boots and all things mountains so this made my outdoor heart skip a beat. We met at a place where they love to go hiking and hammocking and it was the perfect backdrop to the first part of their session!
Next, I noticed that Haley happened to be wearing a Bourbon and Bowties bracelet. Out of the 5 bracelets I own, all of them are Bourbon and Bowties. They are perfect, stackable, and simple – perfect for the girl (me) who is horrible at layering jewelry!
During our session Haley and John set up their hammock, another one of my favorite activities. We made it to 3 different locations during our session (I blame day light savings time and parks that close too early) but it gave us some great variation in their session. It was SO hard to even pick my favorites from the session, but here are a few. Let me know in the comments some things that you like to do for fun!
Sooo in love! These are beautiful!
