So many of my friends have found the love of their life online, and it was no different for Ben and Amanda. Amanda is a Georgia beauty and Ben is from Huntsville, Alabama. Huntsville happens to be the home of one of my best friends so he definitely got bonus points for that!
They wedding and reception were both at Tryphena’s garden in Fort Valley. The weather was warm for mid-December, and ended up being so comfortable! This is my second wedding at Tryphena’s and it is always a dream to shoot there. Even in the winter, their grounds are gorgeous – especially with the little Christmas details.
The whole wedding was light and airy, from the bridesmaid’s dresses to the ceremony flowers and drapery – it was perfect for the season. The guys looked extra sharp in black tuxes.
Ben and Amanda decided to do a first look – which allowed us to have extra time before the ceremony to get all the portraits of them. Amanda walked along the path to Ben and you could tell he was so excited to see his bride. As she tapped him on the shoulder you could see all the excitement and nervousness fade away when he saw his bride.
Amanda was absolutely stunning in her full length dress. The cap sleeves and lace details on her dress were so delicate and were so beautiful.
Their entire wedding day was perfect, from the weather to the backdrop. Their ceremony was filled with so much love and you could tell this was one of the best days of their lives. Ben and Amanda, it was so much fun meeting you, getting to shoot your engagement session, and to be a part of your wedding. I wish you all the best in your marriage and hope these pictures are a reminder of your covenant love for one another.
