I knew I was going to love Kasey as soon as I read her first email. She told me she loved my bio from my website and that I would be a great fit to capture their wedding day. We talked on the phone, and she told me how much she loved southern plantation homes and how excited she was to get married! Fast forward a few weeks and I met her and her fiancé John in Savannah, where they live now.
We started our session at Wormsloe Plantation, where the entrance in lined with Spanish moss and perfect light. Then headed to some gorgeous side streets in downtown Savannah. Some fun facts about Kasey and John: They both graduated from Georgia Southern before moving to Savannah. They both like to try new restaurants and love food (just like me). John designed Kasey’s engagement ring and had is custom made (like what?! major brownie points for him!). And John is a history buff and could tell you anything you want to know about Savannah.
Kasey and John were so sweet and let me join them for dinner after our session at The Crystal Beer Parlor. It was so fun to get to know them even more and share a meal. I might start recommending that with all my brides! Anyway, I think Savannah may be my new favorite place to shoot and I cannot wait for Kasey and John’s wedding! Enjoy some of my favorite images from our session below!
